What does it mean if the cooling of district heating water is too low?
The cooling of the district heating water refers to the difference in temperature between district heating water entering and leaving the property. The better the district heating water is cooled, the better the building’s district heating equipment will work.
A good cooling level during the heating season is 40–60˚C. If the cooling temperature is too low, an automatic message is displayed on the invoice as a warning. Depending on the outside temperature, the limit is usually 20˚C in the winter and 10˚C in the summer. If the temperature is too low, this means that the district heating equipment may be malfunctioning. In this case, it is advisable to order a district heating equipment condition inspection.
