Why does the electricity invoice amount vary so much?
The amout of the electricity invoice varies based on the consumption.
Nearly all Finnish homes have a remotely readable meter that measures electricity consumption by the hour. With remote reading, electricity consumption is no longer assessed, but you will always receive an invoice based on your electricity use. In the winter, electricity consumption is usually higher than in the summer, so the amounts invoiced are also higher.
